My US visa was refused back in January 2023 due to forced conscription and I was unable to join my parents and my sister in the US. My parents are US citizens and applied for me over 9 years ago.

This situation ruined me dramatically, let alone the economic and social situation of Iran that has been getting worse since many years ago.

I had to go to the forced conscription by IRGC more than 15 years ago and didn't have any other option. I have never received any military type training and I was assigned to gardening tasks.

Moreover, I have never worked in any governmental companies in my life. I feel loneliness and have got depression from separation from my family as well as breaking up with my love of life.

I ask US Department of State to distinguish and separate the forced conscript case from IRGC members and help me to join my family and enjoy the rest of my life.
