Story of

Mohammad Saeed Z

We applied for family immigration to the United States in 2005. Following an interview at the Ankara embassy in 2016, my spouse's visa was granted smoothly. However, my own visa has been refused for over six years due to forced IRGC conscription. My conscription, which occurred in 1990, was part of the University service and not within a military organization, yet my conscription card was issued by the IRGC. Consequently, my spouse had to travel to the United States alone, resulting in numerous difficulties and significant emotional strain due to our separation.
