I met my fiancé in Iran back in 2017 and applied for his K1 visa in 2018. However, my fiancé visa was refused because of his forced conscription in IRCG over 20 years ago. This feels unjust as conscription is compulsory for Iranian men. We had plans for a family, but this ordeal has shattered our dreams. The lengthy immigration process and refusal letter have taken a toll on our mental health since November 2019. I don't know what to do as I can't imagine living without my fiancé. It's simply not fair.
