Story of

Saeideh A

Five years ago, my daughter and I were granted immigrant visas, but my spouse's visa was denied due to his forced conscription in the IRGC 28 years ago. Since then, I've been shuttling between the USA and Iran, unable to find work in either place. Instead of pursuing her studies, my daughter has been forced to work full-time. My husband, an architect, was conscripted into an office role related to civil works during his forced conscription. Now, due to this unjust situation, he's been torn apart from his only child. His spirits are low, and he's battling depression.
